This triangular shawl is a great project for beginners with its simple but effective increases.
It has been knit using two different shades in Worsted Weight yarn - Wild Heather from Inis and Yewberry from Vale. When knitting with two different shades it is best to use contrasting but complimentary colors.
The garter stitch portion of this design is embellished by the central increase feature and the solid shade for the border gives definition and structure to the shape and finished look of the garment. The size of this shawl can be easily increased or decreased depending on personal preference.
