A Shawl for All Seasons
Carol Feller has designed the Erin shawl for us at Yarn Vibes. The shawl photographed was made using Glen Field Medium in a sport weight. This shawl incorporates garter stitch and lace work which work beautifully together to create a striking finished piece.
Carol has included a leaf inspired motif in the lacework portions of this shawl to create extra depth, texture and interest. The design is reminiscent of the greenery, foliage and botanical life that can be found throughout the Irish countryside. This pattern is suitable for experienced knitters.

Carol Feller is an Irish knitwear designer based in Cork. She learnt to knit when she was still in primary school and spent many years knitting small garments for her dolls. On occasion she also made garments for herself! She comes from a family with a strong history of knitting and crafting - her aunt ran a knitting shop in Dublin and her grandmother was an expert knitter.
