Inspired by the Islands of Eire

The inspiration for this range of variegated yarns comes the natural landscape of this beautiful island (Inis in Gaeilge). The views from Ireland's peaks are breathtaking - made up of a myriad of shades and tones of every color.

The pinks and purples of the heather, the greens and yellows of the grasses and ferns, the deep blues of the mountain lakes and streams are all showcased in this collection. Not forgetting of course the reds, oranges and yellows of the Irish sunset!

Each of the shades in this range focus on one aspect of the landscape and this is reflected in the shade names.

All of the wool for this range has been carefully selected from farms in Co. Tipperary. This 100% Irish wool has been hand-washed and hand-dyed in small batches. Each hank has subtle variations in color which enhance the unique beauty of this hand-dyed wool!

This yarn is available in two weights (Worsted and Sport).

Just like the sheep this wool is sourced from, every hank is slightly different. Even wool dyed in the same color family will have stronger and lighter hues of the shade coming through.
